# Can I Change the Time Period Shown?

## Answer

Yes, you can change the displayed time period at any time. To do this, click the **Date Range** button at the top of the Discover section, which is located below the **Add Filter** button and, by default, shows the last 30 days.

A menu will open where you can choose from several predefined periods, such as **Yesterday**, **This Week**, or **Last 30 Days**. Alternatively, you can set a custom range using **Start Date** and **End Date**. Use the arrow buttons to quickly move between **Previous 30 Days** and **Next 30 Days** to shift the time window. The **Reset** option quickly returns you to the standard period (usually the last 30 days) without any further adjustments.

## Accessing the Function

You will find the date filter in the **Main Menu** under **Discover**. At the top of the page, these elements are easily accessible:

- The **Calendar Date Range** button for custom or preset time frames.
- The two arrows to quickly switch to the previous or next time period.

## Settings & Options

In the **Date Range** dialog, you have several options:

- With **Start Date** and **End Date**, you can select any custom analysis period.
- The following presets are available:

  - **Yesterday**
  - **This Week**
  - **This Month**
  - **Last Year**
  - **Last 7/30/60/90/180/365 Days**
  - **Custom Range**
- At the bottom, three actions are available:

  - **Reset**: Returns the time period to the default setting.
  - **Cancel**: Closes the dialog without making changes.
  - **Save**: Applies your selected period.

## Limitations & Special Notes

Please note that data is always available up to **yesterday** only – you cannot select today or future dates. Very long time periods may also increase loading times.

## Tips & Best Practices

- Use the arrows for **Previous 30 Days** and **Next 30 Days** to quickly switch between time windows.
- For fast analysis, options like **Last 7 Days** are helpful; they save time and keep reports clear.
- The selected time period is stored in the URL and remains if you use the **Copy URL** option.
